She has held a number of senior positions in primary schools, leading on inclusion (including SENCo). For a number of years Laura was an Independent Fostering Panel member in a children’s local authority sector. For the past 10 years Laura has managed services that deliver specialist therapeutic services for children who have experienced complex trauma and loss in both England and Wales, working with families at home, looked-after children, and in residential and adoption sectors.

Laura is passionate that families receive the support they need to stay together in their communities and are able to attend local schools that have the skills and training to meet children’s needs.
