Charlotte is a Specialist Attachment Practitioner at The Family Place.
Charlotte is a BAPT registered Play Therapist (MSc) with over a decade of experience working with children and young people. Charlotte is a Certified Theraplay® Practitioner and is currently completing the Theraplay® supervisor’s practicum. In addition, Charlotte is working towards becoming a certified DDP Practitioner and has completed BUSS levels 1 and 2.
Charlotte has worked with children and young people across a variety of settings including children’s services, the charity sector, and education (pupil referral units). She is particularly experienced in supporting children impacted by developmental trauma and attachment difficulties.
Charlotte strongly believes in the power and importance of play – be that through Theraplay® or Play Therapy – for supporting the strengthening of relationships, deepening attachment bonds and processing traumatic experiences.
