We were overjoyed to have the opportunity to meet the incredible Lemn Sissay at Hay Festival this past May. He kindly signed a copy of his book ‘let the light pour in’ to Viv and The Family Place Team 
Lemn Sissay spent a large portion of his childhood and adolescence in foster and care homes.
His poetry is powerful and holds wonderful messages of hope
